IT Support Analyst - On-Site Support
Job Description
Position Summary
This position is a full-time temporary position with a duration lasting no longer than 12 months at 40 hours/week, providing basic level desktop IT support services to UI Health Care. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Backup and reimage computers, utilizing various central management tools and techniques.
- Works within a centrally managed healthcare enterprise IT environment including clinical, critical care, research and departmental spaces.
- Interacts with all levels of UI Health Care personnel, potentially including patients and visitors.
- Works closely with peer technicians and teams promoting collaboration and consistent service delivery.
- Embraces standardization, the adoption of best practices, documentation, customer service excellence and the continual improvement approach to IT.
- Exercises all workflows while maintaining state and institutional policies, contributing to the support of organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Experience (typically 6 months to 1 year) supporting desktop workstations running MacOS 10.15 and later, Windows 7/10 and MS Office 2016/365
- Ability to move and install IT equipment up to 50 lbs (most listings include this addition)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer Service Experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating and utilizing technical process documentation
- Demonstrated ability to disarm escalated situations and/or difficult customers
- Experience supporting a wide array of connected peripheral equipment
- Experience working in a health care or health industry environment
- Experience utilizing remote IT support tools
Compensation
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour, dependent on education and experience
