As a Project Engineer for the Program Operations team you will:
  • Provide primary support to our Program Management Office, Product Owner, and Engineering Manager.
  • Support staff meetings, data collection or inputs for presentations, produce/update presentations, track/provide/maintain metrics, work special assignments or ad hoc tasks, and other duties as assigned.
  • Apply critical thinking and initiative to help address tasks and requirements for the entire program in support of program goals

The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, have strong interpersonal skills, have initiative, have the ability to manage multiple tasks, and enjoy a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with project engineering/management
  • Practical knowledge of project management planning tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated teamwork
Desired Skills:
  • Technical or Engineering background knowledge
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple projects in different lifecycle phases
  • Process improvement experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
  • Experienced with Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of planning processes including critical paths analysis, risks, and Earned Value implementation from a planning perspective
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Accountable and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment
  • Positive/self-starting attitude that is not slowed by perceived roadblocks
  • Experience with agile framework and methodologies
  • Experience in briefing and interfacing with senior level management and customers
  • Experience with developing and maintaining schedules for projects or activities and ability to coordinate/integrate a multitude of tasks
