Job Description
Analyzes engineering design of AGMS Products for maintenance requirements, using knowledge of maintainability engineering and related technologies. Analyzes customer's initial design specifications and recommends basic product specifications and techniques to satisfy customer requirements. Reviews engineering specifications and drawings during development and proposes design refinements to improve ratio of operational time to maintenance time, and maintainability.
Responsibilities include generating/influencing initial reliability and maintainability requirements. Ability to utilize best practices of design and test that will assist in improving the reliability of Built-In-Test (BIT) capabilities.
Candidate shall use maintainability analysis to assess the design for ease of maintenance to include preventive maintenance, as well as look for opportunities to gather maintainability and testability data during all test phases.

This position will require 25% travel.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Experience with developing and maintaining LORA, Maintenance Task Analysis and Built In Test (BIT) requirements development for military products
  • Experience with the principles and requirements of design development, integration and test efforts
  • Experience with providing design influence for reliability, maintainability and BIT
  • Has demonstrated being a task lead on projects
  • Experience with planning and executing maintenance demonstration activities
  • Possess strong Computer Skills and Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software products
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
Desired Skills:
  • Experience using Relex or similar tools
  • Previous experience with reliability and maintainability activities for military products (FMECA, Predictions, FRB, FRACAS)
  • Good understand of mechanical and electrical circuit design and schematics
  • Secret clearance with current 6 year background check
  • Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting
  • Experience with planning and executing maintenance demonstration activities
