Your day.
As a Remote Application Analyst HIM, you need to know how to:
Conceptualizes, designs, implements, supports and maintains assigned applications.
- Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Documents workflows, configure and/or build activities, change management adherence, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system. Develops, documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, regulatory and quality standards. Provides support of implementation for new and existing systems and optimizations.
- Recommends workflow and application changes for improved quality, safety or efficiency and works through the necessary governance structure for approvals.
- Develops and monitors controls to ensure appropriate availability and data integrity within applications assigned.
- Collaborates and monitors processes and works with vendor to ensure optimal quality and system performance.
- Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts is required
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends is required for identified positions
Required:
- Epic Certification for the area in which you support (in primary application) is required within 9 months of date of hire or position transfer required.
- Obtaining additional Proficiency or Certification related to assigned modules may be required based on department's operational need at manager discretion.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Informatics, Business Administration or Health Administration preferred.
- Registered Health Information Management Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) preferred
- OnBase administrator certification preferred
- ITIL certification preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in Information Management systems, systems analysis, project management and management of operations and complex projects preferred.
