Lockheed Martin's Missile and Fire Control Business is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team at our Orlando, FL site. The engineer will facilitate new designs, updates, enhancements, and defect corrections to Mission Planning & Precision Target Module software products. Tasks will include requirements analysis, software change report creation/management/tracking, updating software and design requirement specifications, updating test procedures, software integration, test, troubleshoot, and requirement verification, including assembly and packaging of final software installable products. Engineer will support multiple US and international contracts, to include customer, subcontractor, and associate contractor interactions. Experience integrating software components from several different vendors and working with subcontractors is desirable. Some travel is required. International contracts may include preparing and providing training to users.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following Systems Analysis assignments:
  • Perform Open system architecture design and partitioning.
  • Perform System functionality definition including system states and modes, and anti-tamper and cyber security design features.
  • Conduct Model based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance/behaviors.
  • Define system design for software requirements, FPGA functional interfaces, bus loading, and mission planning features.
  • Perform System analysis related to Safety of Flight (SOF) modeling and requirements provisions.
  • Generate/maintain Open System Architecture Management Plan (OSAMP), Software Assurance Plans, and Program Protection Plans.
  • Perform supply chain management activity for specification generation and anti-tamper and cybersecurity provisioning.
  • Generate ICDs and verify compliance of supplier designs and capabilities.

To be considered for this role you must have an active Secret clearance with an investigation w/in the last 5 years. Due to the classified nature of this program all work will be done onsite.
Desired Skills:
Operating system experience on PC/Windows is desirable. Mission planning experience, and/or software development experience, would be a plus.
