JOB ROLE: IT Manager

LOCATION: Based out of our Atlanta office with the flexibility to work from home and travel to our other global offices.

REPORTING TO: Director of IT


JOB OVERVIEW

The successful candidate for our IT Manager role is both a natural problem solver and a collaborative self-starter. You will manage the effectiveness of the department’s service to our internal customers and own the relationship with our help desk support partner to ensure our internal global IT needs are met. You will work closely with our Director of IT and our data science and product teams who are very reliant on our tech stack and its performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a true IT all-rounder to learn, make an impact quickly, and grow within a scaling company.

Normal working hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday; with flexibility to work outside these hours as necessary.

What will you be doing...

  • Own the relationship with our help desk provider to ensure excellent service and compliance with service level agreements. This will include participating in cadence meetings and supporting escalations to resolution.
  • Responsible for documentation and knowledge share of SOP’s and other IT related materials.
  • Work with IT Director to support the business in obtaining it’s SOC II type 1 certification.
  • Lead and project manage resolutions of Azure and endpoint vulnerabilities.
  • Support a continuously growing network with the following technologies: Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint/One Drive, Teams Calling, Server 2012R2 and Azure hybrid, Azure SQL, Salesforce, Cisco Meraki infrastructure, Windows 10/11 Ent, basic support of mobile devices.
  • Partner with People Success and Global managers and own all IT tasks related to onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Lead and/or assist in new software rollouts, migrations, and implementations.
  • Work with office managers on office expansions/ moves, setting up new equipment, and hands on equipment troubleshooting.
  • Manage company equipment inventory, status reports, and assist with IT-related communications to global users.
  • Develop a feedback loop to solicit feedback from users, monitor & report on user experience.
  • Monitor innovations and trends in tech and share ideas to create efficiencies and solve problems for our users.

What we are looking for...

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in technology roles operating as a partner to the business (an MSP background is helpful)
  • Experience supporting a cloud environment (Azure is preferred)
  • Experience using MDM tools (Intune and Auto Pilot)
  • Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam and Azure)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution focused individual. Proven examples of proactive and creative troubleshooting
  • Resourceful and logical in approach when dealing with unfamiliar problems
  • Ability to manage a mix of face to face and remote office support with ability to prioritize, communicate, and efficiently address issues in a timely manner
  • Education in IT or computer science related area – degree desirable but not required
  • Demonstrates creativity and passion to learn new technologies
  • Excellent communication skills that reveal both a professional and friendly manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
