Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for Senior AWS Developer with six years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Senior AWS Developer will be responsible for high-level designs across the Digital and Marketing Technology domain, including:

• Motivated and energetic engineers who are passionate about software modernization
• Must be able to clearly communicate with team members and leadership
• Participate in paired programming and XP development
• Strong ability to work independently when required
• Turn complex ideas into manageable pieces of work
• Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle delivering high-volume, low-latency, scalable and reliable applications.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure design follows specifications and deliver superior engineering outcome

Key Qualifications:

• Years of Experience – Relevant to have 6+ Yrs
• Experience implementing web-enabled applications in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, JSON, REST, CSS
• Proficient with Application development on Amazon Cloud – AWS Managed Services, ECS, EC2, EKS, Serverless Framework/Lambda, API Gateway, Step Function, S3, ALB, Route53
• Strong Experience with AWS Cloud Front/back-end JS framework for Web Development such as Angular, NodeJS, Express
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and CICD pipeline
• Good understanding Enterprise Terraform, Concourse, Jenkins
• Database experience in RDBMS including SQL Server/ Aurora.
• Preferred: Certification: AWS Certified Developer – Associate
• Good understanding of DevOps concepts and process and CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo
