Saint Paul Public Works has three exciting opportunities to lead the following divisions:
Sewer Utility Division Manager: This position leads the daily operations and maintenance of the City’s sewer systems, as well as plans, designs and improves the overall sewer systems to meet the current and changing needs of Saint Paul. Street Engineering Division Manager: This position leads and oversees all engineering, design, and construction project management efforts throughout Saint Paul. This position has total budgetary preparation and compliance accountability for an operating budget of approximately $3.8 million and a capital budget of approximately $39 million in 2023. Street Maintenance Division Manager: This position leads and oversees year-round street maintenance operations including mill and overlay projects, the seal coating program, pothole patching, street sweeping, City trash pickup, and manages the asphalt plant. REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and eight years of professional engineering experience, at least three years of which must have been as a Civil Engineer III or equivalent in engineering fields utilized in the Public Works Department. No substitution for education.
Must be registered as a professional engineer in the State of Minnesota.
May require a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.
