To support our growth, we are looking for a Jr Salesforce Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This is a key position primarily responsible for the administration and advancement of our Salesforce instance. The ideal candidate will “learn by doing” and grow into the Product Owner of Salesforce. This role is also part stakeholder of IT communications and engagement with all departments – we are honorary members of all teams.

This position is based out of ShopCore’s headquarters in Chicago, IL. Also willing to consider candidates in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Austin at our ShopCore main offices.
Responsibilities:

What you will do:

  • Assist in evaluating and updating daily work and special projects through weekly standup/teardown meetings and daily huddles.
  • Administrate and maintain our Salesforce instance.
  • Own Salesforce training for new employees (onboarding) and those tenured (system improvements, feature developments, etc.).
  • Assist in quantifying the value of Salesforce initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Extend and integrate Salesforce with other systems through APIs.
  • Bring creative solutions via Salesforce to improve existing workflows, processes, data management, and communication during acquisition, operations, and disposition of our assets.
  • Troubleshoot as necessary.

Qualifications:
What you should have:
  • Experience administering Salesforce or having been a “power user”.
  • General proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, motivated, energetic, and independent with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Collaborate at all levels, working with team members, senior management, and business owners to move projects forward.
  • Must demonstrate time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work products with a customer service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency as required.
What we would like you to have:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Science, or other STEM related field.
  • Familiarity with web development, APIs, GIT, Postman.
