What you will be doing:
As the SNAP Program Technician, you will provide technical assistance and ongoing support to WorkSource staff as they deliver STEP and ABAWD services to eligible participants, as well as Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title III programs and services to job seekers and businesses. You will serve as a resource and liaison between the WorkSource centers and the Workforce Operations Division.
In this role you will:

Develop concepts for data mining and assessment of future data needs to improve program analytics.
-
Lead and coordinate studies to establish economic impact of policy decisions, evaluating the benefits and consequences of different program and policy strategies.

Evaluate forms and record systems to make certain they comply with program intent and regulations.

Plan operational improvement projects by identifying project scope, required training, and resources.

Communicate and explain regulations, policies and procedures to agency staff and stakeholders; guide others in the correct application of agency administrative rules and policy.

Project Management: Experience facilitating meetings and conversations with ability to articulate expected outcomes, issues, and risks and needed steps for resolution.

Computer Skills: Knowledge and proficiency using analysis, and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, etc.

Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills to a broad range of people at different levels of technicality and formality.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years’ professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification
