About the Role
Tailorbird's team is seeking an experienced BIM Software Engineer with proven technical expertise in developing tools and applications for Autodesk Revit and other modern design frameworks to be directly responsible for the development of BIM-related software applications and related tools for mobile and web platforms focused on Architecture discipline of BIMs for multi-family residential units.
Partner with external and internal cross-functional development teams to architect, design, and implement desktop and cloud-based BIM rendering and editing features as a part of a dynamic and agile team
This role is remote in LatAm.
You'll Get To
- Research and propose System Architecture for different automation needs in AEC design software environments.
- Build, maintain, and test Autodesk Revit add-ins also provide documentation and training to the internal/external teams and users.
- Develop reliable cloud-based applications in Forge/Revit API integrations.
- Develop mobile and/or web applications for accessing and manipulating BIM.
- Manage project plans and stakeholder communications in an Agile/Scrum set up.
We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering and/or evidence of exceptional ability
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud-based development projects in Autodesk Revit and Forge in a large enterprise or consulting services settings using C#, .NET, 3JS, JavaScript
- Knowledge experience in WPF/XAML development for interactive and modern UI experience.
- Experience in the design, development, and consumption of secure REST APIs.
- Have ideally worked on Computational geometry design projects before.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
