Boeing Intelligence and Analytics is seeking motivated and talented Entry and Associate Level Engineers to support the Missile and Weapons Systems Engineering Organization in Huntsville, Alabama. The Missiles and Weapons Systems (MWS) organization is dynamic and growing engineering team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. We are hiring Entry and Associate Level engineers for a variety of positions in support of the GMD Systems Engineering and Integration Support Services (SITR) program. We are seeking engineers that are motivated by being part of a mission critical program, learning engineering discipline and rigor, and participating in the digital engineering transformation.
Typical job responsibilities may include:
Systems Engineering / Digital Engineering
- Support development of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, processes and architectures
- Support configuration, data and work flow management of program specific MBSE tools and processes
- Support establishment of protocol / process for integration of engineering tools with MBSE
- Support establishment of tools, processes and data architectures for Digital Engineering
Systems Engineering, System Integration, Design Integration Responsibilities May Include:
- Support definition of high level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation
- Support performance analysis for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, survivability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, product security (cyber security) and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
- Support development of verification and validation methods, processes, logic, and plans in support of program milestones.
- Support software development, software and test integration
- Support analyzing and translating requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications
- Support interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to plan, design, develop and verify system solutions.
- Support definition and coordination of system performance requirements and technical parameters.
- Support test and validation to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Systems and Performance Analysis, Model & Sim, Algorithm Development Responsibilities May Include:
- Support evaluation of systems under various scenarios and architectures to determine and/or optimize overall system mission performance in a framework giving insight into performance
- Support analysis to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture to solve complex missile defense problems.
- Support development and maintenance of analysis tools of varied fidelity including modeling and simulation tools to predict performance against evolving threats of current and future missile defense systems
- Support systems analyses of the existing system architecture in conjunction with new technologies and concepts for improvements to be considered for future architectures
- Support analysis of multiple targets discrimination for survivability, vulnerability, and susceptibility into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or previous full time experience in an engineering role.
