Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division
(Hexagon) is seeking an Analysis Senior Support Engineer within our Americas group.
As an Analysis Senior Support Engineer, you will support pressure vessel, tank, and structure analysis software customers using our PV Elite, TANK, and Visual Vessel Design products. We also have piping stress software that you could become familiar with. The Analysis software products are leaders in the industry and have thousands of users around the world. Your passion for helping users is key as expectations for addressing their issues promptly are important to leave them with a positive customer experience.
Sr. Support Engineers for our fixed equipment software are typically Mechanical engineers with field experience. A typical workday will include troubleshooting and resolving technically complex customer issues, documenting software enhancements to improve user workflows, answering users' questions from their static equipment calculations, and developing technical documents.

- Frequently interacting with customers
- Mentoring less experienced support analysts
- Solutions to meet the technological needs of support analysts and users
- Troubleshoots and resolves technically complex support issues
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of ASME and other international codes & standards.
- Interacts with solution development and product ownership teams to give feedback, document design issues, and investigate problems.
- Develops technical documents, instructions, and training for internal and external purposes
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of the organization's products and/or services
- Prepares knowledge-based technical articles

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with appropriate experience in fixed equipment design and stress analysis.
- A Master’s degree and/or professional registration are a plus but not required.
- 7+ years of field experience in static equipment design in the process and/or power industry.
- Experience with PV Elite, TANK, Visual Vessel Design, or any other fixed equipment software preferred.
- Experience using other Analysis software such as GT STRUDL, STAAD, or COMPRESS is a plus but not required
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
