Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supports production, sales, and maintenance quality by assembling industrial equipment, ensuring proper operation, and providing technical services

Job Duties:

  • Provides Taylor clients with technical consultation and assembly expertise.
  • Assembles and commissions at factory or remote sites, new and used Taylor equipment by ensuring that all systems and components of machinery are properly installed, tested, and maintained according to operational requirements.
  • Researches system or equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation by servicing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing technical issues and recommends corrective actions and solutions.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
  • Oversees and performs installation, maintenance, or repair of Taylor equipment to ensure equipment is installed and functioning according to specifications.
  • Coordinates the maintenance or safety procedures, service schedules, or supply of materials required to service Taylor equipment to the required conditions.
  • Evaluates frequency of use of genuine Taylor OEM parts and recommends parts to keep in inventory and parts commonly needed to perform repairs.
  • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Ensures provision of technical and related Taylor equipment services comply with company warranty and policy procedures.
  • Serves as technical instructor for various needs such as maintenance, assembly, and operations at customers’ sites.
Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or another closely related field
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering systems and reports
  • Ability to analyze mechanical designs
  • Understanding of basic safety
  • Expertise on power tools and industrial devices
  • Flexibility and ability to travel on a regular basis, especially international for long periods of time
  • Good communication and supervision
  • Bilingual in Spanish
