ASI is seeking a Systems Engineer/Logistics Engineer with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/Model Based Product Support (MBPS) background to work in Patuxent River, MD supporting PMA-271 E-XX program office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with development of a Product Data Model (PDM) for Product Lifecycle Management of information
  • Directs and coordinates program activities designed to provide sub-Contractors, management, and customers with logistics technology that ensures effective and economical support concerned for manufacturing or servicing of products, systems, or equipment
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product
  • Designs and implements models, databases, and tools aimed at standardizing data analysis
  • Compiles and writes documentation of data structure and program development in the use of new systems

Required Qualifications:

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in an engineering or logistics position, three (3) of which must be directly related to Naval systems
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
    • Bachelor’s degree and an additional four (4) years of recent, relevant experience can be substituted for Master’s degree
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including the data package
  • Strong working knowledge of Configuration Management and applicable principles
  • Strong background with development of PDM using tools such as Teamcenter or Windchill
  • Strong background in development of Digital Twin, Digital Fabric, and Digital Thread

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
