Position OverviewAs an IT Project Manager you will coordinate and supervise technical projects from initiation through delivery and liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. You will ensure technical projects are completed on schedule and within budget. You'll perform the role of functional supervisor for projects and act as team advisor. This position reports to the IT Programs Director at Siemens Digital Industries Software.
Responsibilities- Analyze customer requirements.
- Develop IT project charter, scope, goals, sets turning points, delegate tasks, coordinates work of project team, manages performance and reports on progress towards team goals
- Manage projects and resources within the established Siemens project portfolio toolset.
- Works according to Siemens PM and PMO guidelines and processes.
- Research business solutions and participate in the deployment.
- Professionally manage projects to deliver on-time and on-budget.
- Highly skilled with extensive proficiency in area of Project Management.
- Ability to coordinate and lead team efforts.
- Highly capable of identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Excellent ability to manage the most complex projects.
- Excellent time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills.
- Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Very good understanding of the business, particularly as it is related to information technology.
- Certification in project management, or progressing towards the certification, with PM@Siemens, PMI, IPMA, or GPM.
- Skilled with MS365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- US Based applicants only - remote
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
- Eight or more (8+) years of related professional experience.
- Four or more (4+) years project management experience preferred.
- 5% travel based on business requirements.
The salary range for this position is $116,900 to $210,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
