This position is for an Internal Propulsion Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) Product Development (PD) Engineer in the Nano Powerpack organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for being the point contact for Vehicle Program progression and communication for the Nano Powerpack Team.

Powerpack system content includes components for Air Induction, Hot End Exhaust, Base Engine and VO installed Powerpack releases.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering; BSME/BSEE preferred.
• Component and System/Subsystem D&R Experience; Program Management Experience (a plus)
• Ability to work effectively and lead in a team environment.
• Experience with Ford internal PD systems (GPDS, FEDE, WERS, AIMS, SREA, Teamcenter, Etc.) and MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of FMEA’s, Control Plans, and DV/PV Plans.
• Basic knowledge of NVH, Materials, Durability, and Manufacturing (Stamping, Bending, Welding, Assembly) processes.
• Strong Interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and background.
• Ability to prepare and present information to all levels of management.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, with ability to self-manage and generate/prioritize workload.

• Lead new/forward model product development of Powerpack hardware in accordance with Ford GPDS deliverables and milestones for NA and global programs.
• Voice of Powerpack System to Vehicle Programs
• Lead for AIMS and initial failure triage to identify appropriate group for root cause resolution.
