As a part of this team, you will take ownership of challenging app development initiatives using ASP.NET Core, Blazor, JavaScript, and related frontend web technologies. What You’ll be Doing

You will help architect, implement, and maintain highly usable and performant software in iterative development cycles. You will write clean, scalable code using C#, JavaScript and associated client-side web technologies targeting an ASP.NET Core backend.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Along with the description above, you will be expected to:

  • Participate in requirements analysis, “whiteboard” ideas, etc.
  • Collaborate with backend develop efforts
  • Manage code repositories and deploy applications
  • Find “Easter Eggs” in job postings
  • Repair, refactor, and performance-tune existing code
  • Communicate progress through project management tools
  • Provide reasonable documentation throughout the software development life cycle
  • Research and adopt emerging technologies and best practices
  • Serve as an expert and technical support on applications you work on
  • Share your knowledge with other team members

Required Education:
BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering or 3+ years of relevant software development work experience.

Required Experience:
You must have proven experience as a frontend developer who embraces the rapidly evolving field of web technologies while feeling at home within the .NET ecosystem.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to leverage the HTML5 stack, including CSS frameworks, to create engaging user experiences
  • Fluency in JavaScript and/or C#
  • A solid working knowledge of at least one modern SPA framework (React, Angular, Vue, Blazor)
  • Demonstrable understanding of functional and object-oriented programming techniques
  • Demonstrable understanding of SPA state management techniques (e.g., using the Flux pattern).
  • Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with web security practices, including common mechanisms of authentication and authorization.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps deployment methodologies, including containerization
  • Experience using source control systems, preferably Git
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Practical understanding of Agile methodologies

Highly Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Blazor WebAssembly
