This role is for an Information Systems Engineer Analyst Staff - Level 4 for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at Orlando, Florida. The Information Systems Engineer / Analyst Staff is part of a Logistics Information Systems (LIS) Delivery Operations team that oversees build, install, configuration and deployment/delivery of the F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) components, servers and laptops for F-35 customers both domestic and international.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Previous Windows and/or Linux server experience (i.e. backups and restores of physical and/or virtual servers and virtual machines)

  • Previous Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) experience, and/or other relevant experience with similar maintenance/logistics software solutions (i.e. NALCOMIS, IMIS, OOMA)

  • Experience with executing to contractual milestones

  • Holds prior Control Account Management (CAM) experience (i.e. previous earned value management experience; managing program contracts' cost, schedule, budget)

  • Must be able to attain and maintain US DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.

  • Holding a PPM 101 (CAM 101) certification strongly preferred

  • Systems & software engineering process background

  • Prior Program Management and Project Engineering experience

  • Hands-on Information Technology and/or Systems Administrator knowledge

  • Good Communication & Verbal skills

  • Self Starter with the ability to guide the successful completion of major projects without appreciable direction

In addition to the basic requirements above, the successful candidate may have one or more of the following:

  • Current Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security certification
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with system administration, which may include:
o Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Internet Protocol (IP) Switch Fabric architecture (e.g., Routing, Fail Over, etc.)
o Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers and virtual machines
o User Account Maintenance (Active Directory)
o Hardware/System Monitoring of physical and virtual servers
o Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
o Applying operating system updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
o Experience troubleshooting Web Applications
o JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarity
o Understanding of Network Open System Interconnection (OSI) Model Layers
o Knowledge of Networked Attached Storage (NAS) systems and supported protocols
