We are looking for a motivated high-caliber front-end/backend web-development engineer to join the Central Engineering’s Automation and Web development group at our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley. In this position, you will gain experience building automation and web applications for internal test teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance new and modify existing web tools using Python/Django/Go/Full Stack development framework
• Automate End-to-end testing infrastructure development
• Develop scalable data processing backend systems that can handle tremendous amount of data generated daily
• Closely interface/engage with cross functional product teams
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
• Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers
• Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines

• BS/MS in CS/CE plus 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Web Tools development
• Proficiency in one or more of the following developer skills: Java, C/C++, PHP, Python, Ruby, Unix, MySQL, Java Script, CSS, HTML5, MATLAB, Full Stack development (MERN),Go
• Knowledge and Exposure on web application frameworks, expertise testing GUI Frameworks like Django / React
• 3-5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching web applications
• Understanding of software engineering practices (agile, code review, automated builds, regressions testing)
• Able to work well on a team and self-driven to work independently
• Ability to guide junior developers and be a subject matter expert
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytic mindset to debug and root cause issues found during development and testing
