Your Responsibilities
As an Environmental Engineer for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will:
Communicate results of analysis and interpretation to appropriate work groups for awareness and any required remedial action.- Coordinate and conduct environmental audits to verify conformance with Environmental Management System Standards and applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Compile data, documentation, and correspondence to comply with environmental regulations and Environmental Management System requirements.
- Have the ability to respond to emergency situations that could occur inside or outside of standard working hours.
- Develop and deliver relevant and effective training to employees.

What Skills You Need
Knowledge of environmental regulations at the State and Federal level.- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in developing and/or updating environmental plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
What Makes You Stand Out
1 or more years of work experience as an Environmental Professional.- Experience working in the environmental compliance field at a manufacturing facility.
- Experience with ISO 14001:2015 Management System.
Education Details
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
