Job Description
Candidate is Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Team Lead for the CLS team supporting the Fort Bliss Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Training Facility at Fort Bliss, Texas. Candidate must have CLS Team Lead experience, possess strong interpersonal skills to include ability to train CLS candidates and work with foreign students, and display flexibility to support multiple missions as assigned. Candidate is the senior Field Engineer for this CLS Team and single point of contract for all CLS Team operational and administrative actions.
As CLS Team Lead, candidate responsibilities include: 1) provide Field Engineer support to the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Missile Defense training system supporting KSA students conducting THAAD operator training (includes THAAD system maintenance and assisting with KSA training) at Fort Bliss, TX; 2) as required, support System Integration and Checkout (SICO) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico under guidance of Augmentation CLS Team Lead; 3) senior CLS cadre instructor and curriculum developer ensuring high quality CLS training for all students supporting CONUS and OCONUS THAAD programs; and 4) other THAAD mission requirements as directed.
Candidate will perform field & sustainment level maintenance under the KSA THAAD CLS program. As Fort Bliss CLS Team Lead, expect to manage CLS team personnel and support the lifecycle sustainment of THAAD associated hardware belonging to KSA. Candidate will provide technical services on product implementations, modifications, maintenance, and enhancements to sustain customer-supported systems and specifications. Also, Candidate assists with the operation and maintenance of the THAAD Fire Control & Communication (TFCC) Systems and THAAD Launching Station in accordance with established Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Technical Manuals (TMs), policies, procedures, and processes.
Candidate will work normal duty hours but may be required to work overtime in support of THAAD mission or training requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Team Lead for CLS assigned to support THAAD training set at the Fort Bliss KSA Training Facility; includes all operational and administrative requirements to maintain system operational readiness and trained CLS personnel.
- Provide field and sustainment level maintenance support to the KSA THAAD training equipment at Fort Bliss KSA Training Facility
- As required, support the System Integration and Check Out (SICO) at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico
- Plan and conduct high quality CLS student training in support of CONUS and OCONUS THAAD programs
- Assist Fort Bliss KSA Facility instructors with training KSA students while operating on the THAAD training set
- Support the KSA Logistics Operations Center (KLOC)
- As required, assist with training KSA maintainer/operators in accordance with the KSA operator training program
- Support KSA THAAD program by managing and monitoring the maintenance and sustainment program to include scheduling services, system upgrades, and modifications
- Perform all maintenance actions and troubleshooting procedures that are above the level of the Enhanced Operator/Maintainers (EOM) to include but not limited to: software, hardware, interconnecting cabling, electrical system, and networks
- Create, update, and complete Maintenance Actions within allotted time and verify completeness and accuracy of maintenance reports
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical and mechanical drawings
- Identify issues, develop, and submit investigation reports to assist program engineers with design changes
- Collect, package, and deliver system data files from the TFCC and Launchers
- Perform Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) in support of KSA THAAD Battery sustainment operations
- Support the maintenance and calibration of all special tools and equipment
- Support peculiar support equipment inspections and testing
- 5-10 years technician experience with field & sustainment operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs
- U.S citizenship
- Able to obtain U.S. Passport
- Must possess an active security clearance SECRET level or higher
- Must pass a background check to include criminal and credit
- THAAD CLS Team Lead experience
- Experience with THAAD or Patriot System(s)
- Comp TIA Security + Certified
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Ability to establish and maintain networks (e.g., LAN, WAN, IP address schemes)
- Working knowledge of Unix and Linux
- Basic electrical / mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Ability to apply fault detection / fault isolation procedures
- Basic understanding of hydraulic operations
- Basic understanding of the Army Supply System
- Ability to apply appropriate Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation
- Ability to manage and account for inventory
- Knowledge or experience with U.S. Army Material Maintenance Management
- Experience in Mideast/Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) providing sustaining and/or training support
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
