Determines and manages overall strategic direction and administration of multiple technical organizations with a target of 6 or more IT employee direct reports typically with Directors and a total org size of 100 or more. Span may be smaller if this is a high level strategic IT position that has overarching responsibilities. Responsible for the development and delivery of IT related work relative to the technical sub-families including Agile, Application Design and Programming, Business Support, Database, Systems Architecture and Engineering, Systems Technical Support, and Technical Discipline of Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt. If the org or direct reports are more Network focused then the Network supervisory jobs should be used. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for a very large overall organization and budget, as well as supervision of a team of Directors with large, cross-functional teams reporting to them. Provides overall organizational strategy and leadership. Works with appropriate stakeholders to ensure evaluation of strategic business needs and the implementation of successful solutions. This work may include technical applications and systems, operations, infrastructure and related activities supporting multiple lines of business, across geographic regions. Administrative responsibilities include development of subordinates, force budgeting and allocation, financial responsibilities such as budget preparation and tracking, and business case coordination with clients, capital expenses and governance. Supervises and develops a team of subordinates, conducts joint goal setting and performance reviews, as well as assists in the allocation of resources, financial responsibilities and some long-range planning.
