ITA is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join the team at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
Responsibilities:
ITA International is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support the 68th Electronic Warfare Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. The 68th EWS falls under the 350th Spectrum Warfare Group and the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing whose mission is to deliver adaptive and cutting-edge electromagnetic spectrum capabilities that provide the warfighter a tactical and strategic competitive advantage and freedom to attack, maneuver, and defend.
This support includes but is not limited to:
- Enhance Electronic Warfare testing processes and data collection
- Analyze data and provide process improvement recommendations
- Implement dashboards or software modules to visualize a Common Operating Picture
- Shorten internal decision timelines
- Create a data driven organization
Qualifications:
- Design and develop desktop software, web applications, and cloud-based solutions
- Utilize software for highly technical analysis of radar signals
- Evaluate, integrate and implement LOGCOP software tool and techniques
- Enhance Electronic Warfare testing processes and data collection
- Analyze data and provide process improvement recommendations
- Implement dashboards or software modules to visualize a Common Operating Picture
- Shorten internal decision timelines
- Create a data driven organization
- Course work or experience in object-oriented software development
- Six (6) months of experience writing software in a modern programming language
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience coding software in the Microsoft .Net Framework using C# (C-Sharp) or VB.Net
- Experience designing and coding in XAML-based languages
- Experience or course work in UX (user experience) design
- Course work or experience in development and training of machine learning models
- Course work or experience in cloud computing
- Passion for solving problems by coding
- Desire to learn new skills
- Can work as part of a team or individually
The work will be executed in the Continental U.S. (CONUS), primarily at Eglin AFB, FL
