VR Systems, Inc. is the leading voter registration, election management system for Florida. We are a small, fast-growing company of 45 people, forming a closely knit team of software engineers and customer support technicians. The company has a reputation for providing effective, efficient software with a high level of customer service for county Supervisors of Elections and the Division of Elections at Florida's Department of State.
Education and Experience
- 4-year Computer Science-oriented degree from a major university
- Experience working as a software developer may substitute for some education. Please provide explicit past work details if this applies to you.
Job Qualifications
- Self-motivated professional who enjoys working closely with other team members and with non-technical people in a public-service business environment
- Experience developing web-based applications
- Experience with the UI/UX design process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical research skills
Knowledge Preferred but Not Required:
- Familiarity with Microsoft .NET programming using C#
- Familiarity with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks/patterns like RESTful Web APIs and SPAs
