This role is fully remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US
What You’ll Do:
Join our dynamic engineering team as a Senior Frontend Developer and play a critical role in improving customer experience, integrating administration systems, and ensuring seamless delivery of our products. As a key member of our remote team, you'll participate in strategic decision-making and contribute to shaping the future of sleep.
With a focus on frontend solutions, you'll work alongside our legacy stack of Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Next.js, React, and help transition to a Shopify Plus-based platform while executing on technologies including JavaScript, Node, CSS, HTML, Webpack, and more. Utilizing advanced APIs and tools, you'll deploy solutions on Heroku and AWS, and support our commitment to continuous integration and deployment. Our dedicated platform team will provide the support you need to succeed in this exciting opportunity.
How You’ll Do It:
As a Senior Frontend Developer on our fast-paced team, you will build end-to-end business solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development technologies and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will have the opportunity to work closely with domain and technical experts and provide technical mentorship and direction to a small team of software engineers.
As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for writing bug-free, efficient, scalable, and reusable code and will design and develop components and features with performance and scalability in mind. You will also build API’s and web applications that handle complex data with ease.
You will play a crucial role in decomposing monolithic applications into more modern microservices, consulting with product managers to define scope, and plan new features, and work with senior leadership to shape the overall direction and strategy of the company. Additionally, you will collaborate with our quality team to ensure the delivery of cohesive usable solutions, test and evaluate new technologies to improve our solutions, and participate in our agile development process.

What you'll bring
We are looking for a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate should possess not only a strong technical background, but also key qualities such as empathy, pragmatism, and an insatiable curiosity and love for learning. The ability to drive projects from start to finish with a focus on delivering quality results is essential. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
