• Identify, define, and direct approach for successful resolution of significant weld issues
• Work with peer engineers to create weld parameters for new processes, products, and/or tooling related to girth or seal welding using the WS-210 welder & 366F02EQ07 / EQ03 weld chambers
• Perform qualifications or verifications of parameters depending on the requirements of PS-WELD01
• Interact with engineers, operators, technicians, and management as emergent issues may require the NPPD Technician to help solve problems and work in troubleshooting mode
• Assist NPPD Engineering perform tasks (not necessarily welding) associated with the overall success of the group
• Machine tubes using tool room / PE lab equipment to create representative plug-tube joints for scoping and qualification purposes
• Perform “checker” duties for engineers as part of the Enovia signature process

• High School diploma with 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Preferred candidate should demonstrate general welding or tool making knowledge
• Minimum five years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated technical discipline and eagerness to learn
