U.S. Bank is seeking a Software Engineer who will contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives in our digital transformation journey.
Essential Responsibilities:
As a user interface software engineer you will:
Responsible for implementing user interfaces using the latest React JS.
Come up with web and mobile application software design and prototyping.
Work with other UI/UX team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility, you will be involved in the evaluation and selection of UI components and frameworks to use.
As part of an agile sprint team, you will work closely with business and technical colleagues to solve challenging technical problems and deliver cutting-edge solutions with latest single page application (SPA) technologies.
Fully tested code with 80% code coverage using tools JEST. Effective problem-solving, consensus building, and a highly developed analytical and technical skill set are essential to your success.
Insatiable appetite for learning, passionate about building commercial/innovative solutions and developing highly effective teams.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
3 - 5 years of relevant experience
Must Have Skills and Experience:
Full Stack Developer with 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using HTML5/React.JS/CSS
Advance JavaScript knowledge using es6 feature
Good knowledge of core Java, Spring framework,
Web development frameworks with NodeJS, webpack etc.
Knowledge of CSS preprocessor like LESS and SASS
Familiarity with testing frameworks (JEST, Enzyme, Selenium, Cucumber) and concepts of Test-Driven Development
Strong skills in Web services, Rest APIs.
Knowledge of financial markets would be an advantage.
Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles
Good understanding of algorithms and data structures
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
