Position Description

The Frontend Developer is responsible for the client-side of our web applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, testing and deploying web applications to meet the company’s needs. The Frontend Developer will work on a cross-functional product team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Translate designs to clean, efficient code without loss of functionality or appearance
• Work closely with our User Experience Designers on various projects, and communicate technical issues and suggestions
• Implement updates to websites and emails, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Use Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git to manage code and work items
• Work in an agile environment with cross functional teams
• Deliver well tested and robust solutions
• Deploy various types of applications

Ideal Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience developing large-scale web-deployed applications
• Ability to write custom CSS
• Be able to build beautiful, responsive web pages.
• Experience with Visual Studio, DevOps, and Git
• Able to write clean, coherent code and follow established coding style guidelines
• Able to optimize the use of images and page speed in general
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with Web Analytics programs (i.e., Google Analytics)
• Experience with executing and analyzing the results of usability testing
• Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device testing
• Experience with SEO (preferred)
