Job Description Summary:
Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requires three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Job Specific Information:
The UVSDK team is on the leading edge of Enterprise Strategic Initiatives as the precursor enabler for shipment creation, service validation, barcode generation, and scanning. URSA/UVSDK is embedded in all customer automation devices, Express/Ground/TNT scanning/sorting systems, Pickup & Delivery solutions and deploys global changes on a regular monthly cadence.
URSA/UVSDK is seeking a developer that can thrive in a complex, chaotic environment of guiding new initiatives from concept through deployment, developing solutions for operational and marketing problems, and constantly being challenged from debugging complex cross-application development to production issues involving dozens of systems. Every day is a new adventure, and we promise it won’t be boring.
Crucial skills involve problem analysis, debugging, and solution design. In this role the successful candidate will gain vast knowledge about FedEx operations and system information across the enterprise. You’ll be at the heart of everything FedEx. This role actively enhances systems that are critical to production today and are an integration & growth strategy for the future.

Salary Range Estimate: Monthly Salary: $6,218.32 - $13,550.66. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role.
