Description: C-130J Material Review Engineer Stf. - Assignment is for the Marietta site, supporting the C-130J production line. The candidate must possess a unique set of skills combining strong Engineering credentials with a solid understanding of the manufacture of aircraft. Primary duties of this assignment include anomaly investigation, technical solution development and preparation and release of dispositions for discrepancies on aircraft detail parts, assemblies and installations. Position requires a broad knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, with the flexibility to work some off hours and weekends. Successful candidate shall have a strong internal customer focus, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
Experience working in production, depot or flight test operations environment.
Experience with structural repair of airframe.
Desired Skills:
Prior Material Review Engineering experience
