Low Associates is a family owned and operated software company in South Bend, IN. We service local governments and schools in Indiana with specialized software and support. We are looking for a driven, dedicated, team-oriented software engineer to join our Product Development team.

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule (Mondays and Fridays remote, Tuesdays-Thursdays in office). It involves the design, development, implementation, and management of large web applications running on our event driven architecture in the AWS cloud. Applicants should have experience developing and working with API's, message queues, serverless functions, and SQL and NoSQL databases.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree preferred
• Previous work experience in similar field is a plus
• Ability to create basic queries to analyze data
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills
• Ability to conduct research into software development and delivery concepts, as well as technical application issues
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Highly self motivated and directed
• Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Very strong customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
