Summary of Job Duties:
Position Summary:
  • The successful candidate will be leading the R&D activities on biomass
conversion towards
commercialization.
  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to involved in the
commercialization of
patented technologies.
  • Other job duties are highlighted below:
  • Work with industry partners and cross-functional teams to reach project
goals.
  • Collaborate with project team on business development,
commercialization, and market analysis
activities.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of research experience in a laboratory setting (industry and academia)
  • Self-motivated, independent, hard-working and the ability to multi-task
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skill
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of research experience in a laboratory setting
  • Research experience in catalysis, product purification and biomass conversion
  • Strong chemistry background
  • Experienced in the areas of process design and reactor design
  • Commercialization experience in industry or academia
  • Direct experience working at a technology startup

Salary Information:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
