The Investment Application Developer (Application Development Advisor) will be responsible for full stack application development and support resource for the third party and in-house developed systems and infrastructure that support the investment management, accounting, and financial reporting business functions for Cigna Investment Management.

Responsibilities
Direct involvement in new development and production support.
Participation in all phases of the development and system support life cycle.
Works directly with investment business partners and other I/T team members to understand desired system requirements.
Deliver effective solutions within the Agile methodology.
Primary responsibility is to work on a multi-year investment roadmap project to design, develop and implement data interfaces between applications and data warehouse.

Qualifications
High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or commensurate applicable work experience preferred.
Experience with software development life cycle.
Experience working within an Agile team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience building interfaces to/from vendor-hosted applications and data warehouses.

Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with Oracle Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, and Triggers is required.
Experience building reports in SSRS/Power BI.
ASP.Net, VB.Net, MVC.Net, and C#.Net is preferred.
Platform knowledge for Web Servers, Windows, and Linux Servers is a plus.
Business knowledge of finance, accounting, or investments is a plus.
Flexible working with on-call rotations, weekend releases, and monthly evening releases.
