About The Position

• Assist in the development and improvement of lumber processing equipment
• Turn engineering models into burn patterns, machine, fabrication, and assembly drawings
• Effectively model concepts and detailed designs using 3D modeling software
• Provide direction to assemblers and machinists and work proactively with them
• Provide recommendations and creative suggestions for solutions to problems
• Coordinate the activities relative to the development of new equipment

Qualifications

• 1-year experience with SolidWorks or 3D modeling software
• Preference given to applicants with experience in the lumber industry or machine design
• Ability to continuously learn and improve knowledge of the industry and equipment
• Ability to focus on solutions rather than problems
• Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects
