Job Summary
Designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques. Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, seasonal content specials and custom chat launcher design for partners.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and provide ongoing updates of current websites
- Design and create new webpages/sites, layouts and templates
- Meet with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
- Assist and train other web editors across the college
- Assist with web graphics
- Collaborate with marketing to reach communication outreach goals
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (2 years of related work experience is equivalent to 1 year of education). 2-4 years of experience in web design or a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the web design field.

- Proficiency in front-end development and UI/UX Design
- Good understanding of content management systems
- Proficiency in search engine optimization (SEO) principles
- Experience with graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other visual design tools
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with HTML

- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
