Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
What you’ll do:
As you begin your career as an Manufacturing Engineer with Eaton, you will:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and utilize Six Sigma methodologies to develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce variation, and eliminate waste.
- Support root cause and corrective action for manufacturing issues by utilizing problem-solving tools such as 8D analysis and PFMEA’s (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Collaborate across product design, operations, program management, and supply chain to execute projects.
- Integrate equipment into an Industry 4.0 environment.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than August 2023
- Minimum of one internship or co-op experience completed at the time of this application
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
- Two or more relevant internships or co-op experiences
- Manufacturing engineering experience
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $73,000 (bachelor’s degree). This position offers a one-time $6,000 signing bonus.
