As part of a diverse and hardworking team of electronics engineers, you will be responsible for defining and documenting the EME requirements for New Glenn electrical systems and components. You will also lead design trades for system approaches for EMI/EMC and lightning tolerance. Your responsibilities will include developing verification strategies for electrical system design requirements.

Qualifications:
- Help establish program level EMC requirements and verification strategy for New Glenn
- Includes a level of requirements decomposition, and margin establishment
- Create top level plans for EMC
- Program level approach, test and verification plans
- System level approach, test and verification plans
- Component level approach, test and verification plans
- Scope level of effort, both timing and staff workload
- Contribute to vehicle, system, and component level requirements and verification for EMI/EMC, lightning, ESD, and RF
- Train and give mentoring on system level EMC, ESD and lightning topics to New Glenn engineers
- Document guides on EMC, ESD, and lightning modelling best practices to be used for program execution
- Provide recommendations for skills needed for hiring direct support
- Consult with Blue and external analysis contractor to support accurate New Glenn lightning models and analyses
- Evaluate New Glenn’s design approach and provide suggestions as needed for mitigating issues and ensuring verifiable solutions
- Provide lesson’s learned and suggestions for performing EMC, ESD, and lightning analysis work
- Review co-site computational analysis and ensure vehicle level issues are covered
- Provide any necessary input for accuracy of results
- ESD requirement support
- Antenna support, lightning protection, bonding, etc
- RF window lightning protection

Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $169,500-$248,600
