Duties:
- Perform internal calibrations and adjustments on IM&TE to calibration standards, including, but not limited to: torque tools, power supplies, accelerometers, mechanical inspection tooling, and electronic measuring and output devices.
- Review calibration reports as received from the contracted Calibration house and ensure compliance to ISO processes
- Perform spot audits of work centers to verify compliance to ISO calibration processes
- Ensure tools, test equipment, and standards are properly calibrated and repaired according to established procedures
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma/equivalent
- Minimum 6 years experience with calibration activities including identification, traceability, recall, reporting, handling and storage.
- U.S. citizen
- Fluent in use of Microsoft applications and ability to quickly learn new computer programs/applications.
- Adequate technical writing skills are needed.
- Familiarity with ANSI Z540 calibration requirements and ISO 17025 requirements.
- Familiarity with calibration reports and handling nonconformance documentation.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with calibration activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of TIPQA and/or Costpoint database applications
- ASQ (or equivalent) accreditation as Calibration Tech
