Deere & Company is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in Milan, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 6 years related experience. Required skills: Design and develop complex integrations between a wide variety of systems and areas such as Finance, Material Management, CRM, Transport Management, Warehousing, Order Management and Banks using integration technology (6 yrs); SAP Basis experience in performing new SAP system onboarding, security, upgrades, maintenance of production systems, user management, and backup and restore (6 yrs); Design, develop, configure and support SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) as well as detailed experience in ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) (6 yrs); Design the API roadmap, strategy and solution, evolution from SOA to APIs and build APIs and implement API management including API proxies, rate limiting, security, and analytics using the latest technologies and best practices (6 yrs). Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
