Job Description
This position requires an experienced, qualified relationship manager capable of driving business independently across the West Coast. The banker should have proven client relationship skills, an ability to call at the c-suite level, extensive credit and treasury services product knowledge, corporate finance expertise and strong transaction execution skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities
- Manage complex, multi-product, client relationships
- Coordinate the client coverage efforts of multiple internal business partners
- Collaborate with credit and loan syndication teams on analysis, structuring, negotiation, documentation and distribution of loan origination
- Strictly comply with all regulatory and J.P. Morgan rules, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering and knowledge of corporate finance, treasury, investment banking, credit, and other banking products
- Proven track record in business development and client management
- Strong corporate finance, analytical, credit and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communications abilities
- Self-motivated, dependable and intelligent
- Candidate must be a top individual contributor, with a strong performance track record
- Completion of a recognized investment banking or credit training program
- Possess (or will obtain within three months of hire) FINRA Series 79 and 63 securities licenses
- Travel will be required
