Control Systems Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will be responsible for the design and development of instrumentation systems for industrial facilities, including the specification of industrial instrumentation
  • In this role, you will be in charge of developing instrumentation installation drawings, data sheets and specifications, in full compliance with recognized industry standards, safety standards, and various client specifications
  • In addition you will assist in the technical development of assigned project P&IDs
  • You will generate instrument datasheet, RFQ and PO packages for Instruments and Control Systems
  • Develop technical tabulation to support the selection of instrumentation and control systems will be part of this role
  • You will assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements
  • Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements
  • You will prepare instrumentation calculations for control valves, flow orifices, and relief valves
  • Review budgets for proposals in conjunction with the proposal team and provide input as required

What makes you great

  • You have a BS or licensure and equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of ISA Standards and International Codes is needed to fulfil this role
  • Effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes and other Company and discipline specific software applications such as Intools are required
  • You own effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • Further you have effective analytical and problem-solving skills
