Control Systems Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will be responsible for the design and development of instrumentation systems for industrial facilities, including the specification of industrial instrumentation
- In this role, you will be in charge of developing instrumentation installation drawings, data sheets and specifications, in full compliance with recognized industry standards, safety standards, and various client specifications
- In addition you will assist in the technical development of assigned project P&IDs
- You will generate instrument datasheet, RFQ and PO packages for Instruments and Control Systems
- Develop technical tabulation to support the selection of instrumentation and control systems will be part of this role
- You will assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements
- Review and checking of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements
- You will prepare instrumentation calculations for control valves, flow orifices, and relief valves
- Review budgets for proposals in conjunction with the proposal team and provide input as required
What makes you great
- You have a BS or licensure and equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of ISA Standards and International Codes is needed to fulfil this role
- Effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes and other Company and discipline specific software applications such as Intools are required
- You own effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
- Further you have effective analytical and problem-solving skills
