Our valued client, a global construction and engineering services firm and family-owned business based in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, code, customize, configure, test and deploy new systems, as well as perform development related duties ongoing maintenance of legacy systems. The individual in this role will play an integral role in the development of the company’s construction management system, a sophisticated and progressive application. The client is a growing company and looking to expand its team!

This is an onsite position based in Baton Rouge, LA. Relocation assistance will be considered; however, individual must reside in or near the Baton Rouge area.

As a .NET Developer, you will handle various aspects of the application, including but not limited to performance, scalability, security, and testing. You will collaborate with a development team including other developers, architects, BA/Scrum Master, Quality Analyst, Reporting Writer, and support staff.

In this role, you will:

What you will need:

· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience

· 7+ years of design and/or development experience with . NET, C#, Windows Forms and SQL Server in an n-tier architecture.

· Strong background in object oriented development techniques

· Solution Design Patterns and Best Practices, e.g. SOA

· Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)

· Experience with Web Services, WCF and Service Oriented Architecture a plus

Experience utilizing automation testing tools preferred.

· Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

· Passion for technology and knowledge
