WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

This role is responsible for the configuration, and maintenance of the component of MicroStrategy software and will assist in the planning, designing, and architecting of BI dashboards, reports across a variety of platforms and database. This role will interact with the IDW development teams, configuration teams, various technical teams, and business stakeholders to optimize and maintain overall Business Intelligence platform reliability, availability, and performance.


In this role you will:

  • Develop, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot data movement SQL scripts
  • Add, maintain, and document data model objects for a corporate data warehouse
  • Develop and foster positive relationships and transparent dialogue with the business community and data colleagues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years' professional work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working with data as a Data Engineer, BI Developer or Analyst with a tool like Tableau, Power BI, or Micro Strategy
  • Experience in data analysis, data modeling, and SQL development
  • Experience with collaborative technologies

  • Experience using Teradata, Linux, or Python
  • Willing to state an opinion and apply critical thinking (what, so what, now what)
  • Ability to draw conclusions without complete information
  • Love of learning and the self-motivation to get it
  • Take personal accountability for the delivery of projects and committed timelines
  • Passion for the work

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • The salary range for this job is between $90,500 and $144,500. Salary will take into consideration several factors including location.
