What you'll do:
Viasat is looking for a Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit Engineer to join our SiGe/CMOS RFIC Design Engineering team. As a Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit Engineer, you will be working on the design and development of Microwave/RF/Mixed-signal circuit blocks like LNA, PA, VGA, VCO, PLL, ADC & DAC, Mixers etc. You will craft custom IC using SiGe (particularly 130nm & 90nm) or CMOS/CMSO_SOI (particularly 65nm & 45nm) processes. This opportunity will utilize and expand your problem-solving skills learned in school by generating design IP utilized in sophisticated RFIC designs that push the current state of the art.
The day-to-day:- You will have opportunity to solve unique problems at the device, circuit, and system design
- You will participate in weekly team meetings to discuss key issues and provide solutions to these issues
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience or exposure in RFCMOS/SiGe RFIC design
- Familiarity with SiGe/CMOS RF and Microwave IC design and associated CAD tools
- Previous or current coursework in: Analog IC design, Electromagnetism, RF and Microwave circuit design, Semiconductors

Ability to travel up to 10%
U.S. Citizenship Required
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous relevant internship experience
