How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

As an Engineer with LifeNet Health, you will support the development, optimization, and introduction of new manufacturing processes and equipment as well as continuous improvements projects for existing processes. This includes executing engineering studies, equipment qualifications, and process validations in compliance with LifeNet Health (LNH) standards to support new product launches and continuous improvement projects.

What you’ll do:

  • Assists in the design and development of new allograft tissue products, equipment and processes. Supports transfer of new products to production and designs and develops process improvements.
  • Serves as an engineering resource on projects. Assists in the investigation of assigned complaints, errors and issues.
  • Assists in the design of testing protocols. Schedules, coordinates, performs and documents testing protocols of new allograft tissues, processes or equipment.
  • Maintains production, design and development records in accordance with current LifeNet SOP’s.
  • Assists in engineering needs of other LifeNet departments as may be determined appropriate


What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, required; Master’s Degree, preferred
  • White Belt Lean Certification from LNH Lean University or similar, preferred
  • 1 year of engineering experience in a medical device development/manufacturing environment or equipment design, preferred


These would be nice too (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point; experience with Solidworks, MiniTAB, JMP preferred
  • Ability to manage individual activities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of approaches to problems
  • Ability to Identify problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Ability to use mathematics and engineering principles to solve problems; is knowledgeable of statistics and probability
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; open to others’ ideas
  • Knowledge of practical application of engineering principles to develop process and product solutions; knowledge of biomedical engineering and technology preferred
  • Ability to communicate conclusions and recommended path
