Job Summary

The Sr. IT Helpdesk Support Specialist will be the trusted source for the entire company regarding all IT inquiries and support. The candidate in this role will manage IT helpdesk issues, order and manage hardware, tag assets, develop and implement policies regarding passwords, remote access, cyber security protocols, etc. This role is expected to be 20-30 hours per week with at least one day working in the office located in San Bernardo California. As the company scales this role will grow.

What you will do

  • Resolving IT support requests from employees
  • Ordering hardware
  • Setting up new computers and equipment
  • Answering all IT helpdesk inquiries
  • Installing new software and updates as needed
  • Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
  • Onboarding and offboarding employee access
  • Working with Cyber security team to ensure all systems are protected properly

What You Will Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology or similar is highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software and cloud computing
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end users
  • Demonstrated team collaboration and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization and time management skills
