Position Summary:

The Process Engineer (PE) is responsible for developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across our network of warehouses to drive improved operational performance. This position works to achieve a sustainable continuous improvement culture at our facilities. The PE will work closely with key leaders within facilities and cross-functional partners, ensuring that processes are executed to expectations.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Define work elements, complete work observations, and suggest process improvements in Reyes Beverage Group distribution centers.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within warehouse and delivery using detailed process data and financial reports.
  • Continuously analyze and calibrate working processes and safety methods
  • Utilize a hands-on approach in working with the front-line employees and leadership to support continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage/lead projects coordinating activity between vendors, local management, IT, and operations support teams.
  • Co-own responsibility for improving performance in key business metrics.
  • Design and CAD drawing of warehouse layouts for existing, new and expanded multi-temperature facilities
  • Analysis for current and new warehouse layout schematics, capacity, bottlenecks, optimization, etc.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field and 4+ years of related experience
  • Experience in leading process improvement implementation.
  • Experience with change management and influencing organizational culture change.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop project business cases, and measure success.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills with solid oral and written communication capabilities
  • Must be able to work any shift and any day of the week
  • Up to 75% travel is required
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Manufacturing/Warehouse Beverage experience
  • Experience applying Lean Thinking principles in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Leading implementation of Lean methodologies
  • Experience in development of focused team activities
