Job Description
Job Summary: Assist with supporting all departments regarding computer software/hardware needs and all aspects of the network infrastructure. Additionally, assist planning, developing, installing, configuring, and maintaining all desktop, software, and hardware needs.
Hours Required: 40+
Major Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops/desktops/scanners, client-side software applications, and printers connected to a dynamically changing network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot desktop client connectivity, printer, and email problems.
- Setup new users, security rights, information storage and archival needs.
- Administrate routine daily tasks in the manufacturing environment ensuring communication continuity.
- Utilize Active Directory to help maintain computers, users, security, and access privileges.
- Document network infrastructure and hardware inventories.
- Work with outside contractors to support and expand the technological needs of the manufacturing facility.
- Performs general technology needs analysis for user community.
- Assist other IT staff on network infrastructure issues and needs.
- Resolve manufacturing facilities hardware, desktop, printer, and handheld scanner issues.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form; explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to clients, staff, and third-party vendors; read, interpret, and apply technical instructions
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Skills Required
- Associate degree or Certifications.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and NTFS.
- Strong documentation and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills for problem solving.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN concepts.

- Prolonged periods of work that primarily involve sitting
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
