Responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate, and coordinate design reviews to verify proper implementation
• Interface with suppliers for the avionics components development
• Create drawings and documentation to ensure the assembly of the final product
• Align modifications to airframe and other structures with system owners
• Define and parts and subsystems for integration including alignment with suppliers
• Assist production and quality management
• Generate and own the Interface Control Documents
• Ensure build in quality to our design, generate design assessments and participate root cause assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, (Master's degree preferred)
• 3+ years of professional experience in aviation industry, (unmanned vehicles preferred)
• Familiarity with composite manufacturing processes, and post-processing of advanced composite components
• Experience with prototyping and testing
• Proficiency with CAD Software
